Senator Cassidy breaks ranks on RFK Jr. vaccine claims
Bill Cassidy, a doctor, is publicly rejecting RFK Jr.'s vaccine executive order. He's saying what needs to be said: vaccines are safe, effective, and do not cause autism. Breaking up vaccine schedules won't reduce shots, it'll increase them. It'll scare parents and make kids less safe.
This is a senator from Louisiana, not some fringe voice. He's watching Trump and his Health Secretary spread health misinformation and he's calling it what it is. Wrong.
I’m a doctor. This executive order is wrong. The President does not have the expertise to make these changes. Vaccines are overwhelmingly safe. Vaccines are effective. Vaccines DO NOT cause autism. Breaking up vaccines will mean children have to get more shots to get the same protection, not fewer shots. It will increase hesitancy and make children less safe. Parents should listen to their child’s pediatrician about vaccines rather than listening to an inaccurate executive order. This is so wrong. https://x.com/axios/status/2086882945516662836?s=46
