Kennedy just admitted mercury is "the most powerful neurotoxin we know of in the universe." Then Rep. Harder asked why the Trump administration is doubling mercury pollution in air and water. Kennedy's answer: he runs HHS, he's fighting chronic disease, and he won't comment because "I don't know anything about it." When Harder pointed out that health and human services is literally his job, Kennedy demanded she ask about something he's "responsible for" instead. This is a man leading the health department while actively claiming ignorance about industrial pollution destroying public health. The cowardice Harder named isn't a bug, it's the entire point.
