Kansas senator Roger Marshall charged 18% interest on medical bills through his own medical practice. A Kansas City Star investigation found not a single other medical provider in the state doing the same. Even Marshall's own lawyer admitted Marshall personally set that rate and was probably the only one in Kansas charging it. This is what predatory lending looks like when it's dressed up as healthcare.
