George Santos got permanently booted from the prediction betting platform Kalshi after placing bets on whether he'd show up to the State of the Union. They also hit him with a ~$70,000 penalty. So the guy loses his seat in Congress and now he's banned from gambling platforms for the bit he tried to pull. Normal stuff.
