Debbie Wasserman Schultz won a primary in a historically Black district she doesn't even represent. The Congressional Black Caucus supposedly had a plan to coalesce behind a single Black candidate to actually compete. It fell apart. Every candidate stayed in the race, splitting the vote enough that none of them could beat her. This is what happens when supposed leaders can't lead, and it handed the district back to someone who doesn't belong in it.
