Google is literally serving pre-fire satellite images for parts of LA where the actual destruction is happening. Not updating maps, not showing reality, just... old pictures. Call it what it is: election optics engineering. The LA mayor's reelection campaign apparently matters more than people being able to see what's actually happened to their neighborhoods.
