EU forces companies to accept your containers

The EU just mandated that food businesses have to let you bring your own containers for takeout. It's part of a broader packaging overhaul hitting the market today, with stricter design and recycling rules rolling out through 2030. The person sharing this seems genuinely baffled by the concept. Which is wild because most of the planet operates this way already, and it's basically the only rational response to the fact that we're drowning in single-use packaging trash.
