Apple rolls out lease-everything subscription

Apple Upgrade launches next week with Klarna: you can now lease iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches instead of buying them. Translation: Apple found another way to extract recurring revenue. Klarna handles the financing (you know, the Swedish fintech that's basically a debt machine). You stop owning products, Apple stops caring about durability, and both companies get to keep you locked in forever. This is the endgame of late capitalism: subscription everything, ownership of nothing, and your stuff designed to break before the lease ends.
