Trump's Russian diesel deal is pure market manipulation
Trump just announced Russia will flood the market with diesel: 300,000 tons now, 500,000 in November, millions more after. Except Russia has an export ban and refineries are offline or running at 25% capacity. They can't physically do this.
The admin clearly knows it too. The escape clause buried in the announcement: delivery is "based on the condition of their Diesel Refineries." Which is code for "this won't happen."
This is pure market manipulation. Announce fake supply surpluses to tank prices on lies about diesel that's never coming.
BREAKING: Donald J. Trump announced following a discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia will supply large quantities of diesel fuel to the global and American marketplace, starting with over 300,000 tons immediately, another 500,000 tons in November, 1,000,000 tons thereafter, and an additional 3,000,000 tons shortly after. Combined with control of the Strait of Hormuz, this agreement aims to quickly lower diesel prices for Americans, farmers, ranchers, and truckers. He also stated that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.
