A grown man in charge of foreign policy is doing a press event about envelope design. The same State Department that just replaced world flags with 200 American flags in the lobby, because apparently soft power means aesthetic nationalism. Symbolism over substance, every single time. The passport application process isn't faster, harder to navigate, or cheaper. But now it arrives in a fancy box. Problem solved.
