Discord rolled out an age assurance feature everyone actually wanted. It immediately broke in the worst way: telling users their birthdays are wrong. One 26-year-old got told they're aging backwards. The feature launched buggy and embarrassing, which tracks for a company that couldn't get voice chat right for five years.
