Senator booed defending tariff failures

Sen. Roger Marshall told a crowd Trump's tariff policies are "working." They booed him. When he insisted tariffs are "such a small portion of the future," they booed again. Then he asked why people "don't care about American manufacturing jobs" - which is rich, since the crowd clearly didn't buy his pitch that those jobs are actually being created. The disconnect is stark: a Republican senator pushing a failed policy at citizens who can feel it in their wallets, and no rhetorical pivot can close that gap.
