Tel Aviv's own mayor, Ron Huldai, is asking "why exactly are we the ones suffering right now?" from a shelter. The cause and effect here is not complicated. You start a regional war, your cities go into shelters. This isn't a mystery. The same logic applies to Israel's apparent eagerness to blow up Iranian energy infrastructure while sitting on its own completely vulnerable energy and water systems. Nobody in charge seems to be running the tape forward.
