LSAC is denying Americans access to law school exams
LSAC, which runs the LSAT, is blocking Green Card holders and US citizens of Iranian heritage from taking the test. The excuse is Iran sanctions. The reality is bureaucratic cowardice masquerading as compliance.
If you have Iranian heritage or a Green Card, you're apparently too much of a legal liability for them to touch, even if you're a full US citizen. This is what happens when institutions see a rule and panic-comply beyond what the law actually requires. Nobody checked the law. Nobody asked a lawyer. Someone saw "Iran sanctions" and decided to be safe by destroying access for Americans.
