Democrat confuses her own candidate's name
Debbie for Florida posted about how hard it is to run statewide, how important it is to know your community and the issues, and how glad she is to see Andrew Vindman standing by "Angie."
Except Angie Nixon's endorser isn't Andrew Vindman. That's a career State Department official who had zero connection to Florida politics or on-the-ground work. The person actually endorsing Nixon was Alexander Vindman, Andrew's twin brother. Debbie couldn't even get the name right of the person she was praising for understanding Florida.
This is what Democratic leadership looks like when they punish their own candidates for actual community organizing: they don't even bother learning who's in the room.
Running statewide is not easy. Running statewide in Florida is one of the hardest things you can do politically. You have to know Florida. You have to know our people and understand the issues affecting communities across this state. Say whatever you want, but Angie is a Floridian. She understands Florida. I am so glad to see Andrew Vindman’s statement saying he’ll stand by her side. And yes, you need the money to communicate, but winning is about so much more than money. Now Florida has a choice: Do we want change for Florida, or do we let the pundits drag everyone down? Democrats: stand strong. Stand together. That’s how we win, and how we deliver the positive change Florida desperately needs. Anything is possible, but it’s up to all of us.
