Adam Little created a version of Roblox where his son thinks he's playing with other kids. He's not. It's a video game populated with recordings of old playthroughs and AI chatbots pretending to be real people. The premise: Roblox is unsafe because you don't know who your kid is talking to online. Solution: build an entire simulation where he talks to no one but thinks he is. This is parenting as deception theater. The kid gets the illusion of social play without the actual threat. Which means he also gets zero actual social connection, just a really elaborate puppet show dressed up as community.
