Democrats losing their own narratives
Hannity's saying when you lose Carville, Maher, Penn, Fetterman, and Manchin, that's a sign the Democratic coalition is fracturing. He's right about the data point being real, even if his spin is garbage.
The actual story: these aren't random defections. They're prominent figures who built their careers on a particular vision of Democratic politics getting pushed out or jumping ship because the party moved without them. That's not the canary in the coal mine. That's the coal mine.
