Week five of the Iran war and the justification has fully collapsed: plagiarized, sourced to a real estate guy, contradicted by intel insiders, while Trump threatens Iran's power grid and his own voters bail. Every ally said no, the coalition is gone, and the propaganda keeps getting caught.
Week five, and the war's whole rationale is a lie. The nuke threat came from a single uncredentialed real estate developer, the war justification was plagiarized verbatim from an Israeli lobby think tank, and an intel insider confirmed there was never any evidence. The NCTC director quit citing Israel lobby pressure, now under FBI investigation for leaks, while the DNI publicly abdicated her agency's core job. Trump has cycled through nine justifications, ending on "Khamenei is gay."
Escalation without an off-ramp. Iran hit nine countries in one night, landed hypersonic missiles on Tel Aviv, struck Israel's largest air base and the world's largest LNG hub. The US lost another F-15 over Kuwait, possibly an F-35, and massed two amphibious groups with zero congressional vote. Now Trump threatens Iran's civilian power grid outright.
The coalition is gone, not going. Every major ally said no, Europe blocked US bombers, and the EU turned Hormuz leverage back on Washington. Netanyahu admitted he can't win without a world war.
Trump's own base is bailing. His voters want out, three-time voters have regrets, and Nick Fuentes is demanding impeachment. Even the staged press conferences can't hold it.
The energy shock came home. Global shortages are spreading, India settled oil in yuan, and the petrodollar blinked. Meanwhile private job growth is basically zero and retailers pocketed more than the tariffs.
